IMITATION IS THE SINCEREST FORM OF FLATTERY
Look familiar? This Occipiter router was inspired by the Fuego grill, in an effort to give the traditionally staid computer hardware a modernized upgrade. The designer, Michael Laut, used brushed aluminum with inlay wood and a magnesium alloy chasis.
The side panel that resembles our Modular Accessory System is more of a design feature, and less functional (we don't think it can hold a beverage bucket or paper towel holder...) What are your thoughts? Is it necessary to have a sexy router? http://www.yankodesign.com/2009/01/15/find-beauty-in-a-router/ |

I read some of the comments from the original post indicating that the inlay wood might be an issue due to fire hazard. But I have seen some pretty decent powder coating aluminum that resembles wood grain & color. I like the design. Bravo! I'll buy it.
