Officially Robert is the Chief Industrial Designer at Fuego. Unofficially he’s the guy who skewers the status quo with designs so sharp and unexpected even his pencils don’t know what’s coming next. Robert served as Director of Industrial Design at Apple Computer before becoming a partner at world-renowned Pentagram Design. He is now CEO of Ammunition, a new product design consultancy group. He has won numerous awards including 23 IDSA Awards from the Industrial Designers Society of America. His work is included in the permanent collections of the Museum of Modern Art in both New York and San Francisco. As for the Fuego grill, let’s just say it’s proof positive that Robert works well under fire.
